CPR - the Inspiration for Smooth Criminal
Millions of people every year learn CPR on a Resusci Annie,
How many of them know that this was the inspiration behind Michael Jackson's
song Smooth Criminal?
According to Spike Lee in his documentary "Bad25"
Michael had had CPR training prior to writing Smooth Criminal (on the Album
Bad) and this was the inspiration behind the intense refrain "Annie are
you OK?"
"Annie are you OK?" is one of the first steps when
