We are very sorry to inform you that from today all of our first aid courses will be postponed. As the situation has evolved, we have decided with a heavy heart that it is no longer safe for our staff or customers to continue running our courses. We will of course continue to supply our valuable first aid supplies through our website and our phone lines will remain open. Thank you very much for your understanding, we are a family-run business and are very grateful for your continued support in what is a very challenging time for all small businesses.
Currently, we hope that our courses will be running again on the 1st June 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and will only re-commence our training when we believe it is completely safe to do so. Health is a key value of our business and we encourage you all to take the necessary precautions to prioritise your own health. Our newsletter will continue to give advice on how best to protect yourself.
We apologise for the impact this will inevitably have on your first aid training plans. For those who are already booked onto a course, please a look at our first aid timetable and notify us onto which course you would like to transfer your booking. We expect there to a be a spike in demand once restrictions have been lifted as many people will have qualifications that will need to be renewed. Therefore we do recommend that you transfer your current booking as soon as possible to a suitable date in the future. There will of course be no transfer fee.
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has decided to extend the validity of First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work certificates expiring on or after 16th March 2020 by up to three months if you are unable to attend a requalification course as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This also applies to Paediatric First Aid and Emergency Paediatric First Aid courses.
We look forward to seeing you soon, and continuing to teach the vital and life-saving skill that is first aid,
