First Aid at Work Courses
This first aid at work course complies with the HSE 1981 "First aid at work" legislation for a first aider in the workplace. Each course is adjusted to suit the needs of the students. This is valid for 3-years with an annual update recommended.
Basic Skills Update / Annual Refresher
The annual course used to update First Aid at Work training as well as Emergency First Aid at Work Training. This 3hour course should be completed every year. This is strongly recommended by the HSE.
Paediatric First Aid Course
This first aid course is suitable for Ofsted and is ideal for schools and childminders. We run the 2-day (12 hour PFA and the 1-day Paediatric Emergency First Aid course
CPR/BLS Training
This CPR/basic life support course is aimed at training a person to be able to carry out basic resuscitation and so prevent loss of life and send for first aid help.
Managing Medicines Awareness in Schools
This course provides an overview of “Managing Medicines in Schools and Early Years Settings” – the DFES/DOH Guidance.
Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace
This course aims to identify and respond to Mental Health problems in the workplace. This will teach your colleagues to provide the first aid needed in an mental health emergency.
First Aid at Work Requalification
This requalification course complies with the HSE 1981 "First aid at work" legislation for a first aider in the workplace and can be undertaken by first aiders whose first aid certificates are close to the end of their 3-year period and have not yet expired.
Emergency Aid at Work Course
This Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is aimed at training a person to recognise the scale of the emergency, prevent loss of life and send for first aid help if necessary. This course is recognised by the HSE
AED Defibrillation Training Course
This courses teaches how to use an Automated External Defibrillator
Anaphlaxis/Epipen Training
Anaphylaxis/Epipen/Anapen Training for First Aiders. This training is aimed at schools, surgeries and places where members of staff may encounter casualties who have allergic reactions.
Driver CPC Training Course / Emergency First Aid at Work Course
7 Hours training for HGV Drivers CPC. This course is registered by Jaupt. You must do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) to drive a lorry, bus or coach.
